Floating Support 

Floating support provides support to enable young people to maintain and sustain their own tenancies.

A range of areas of support are provided:

  • Budgeting and financial management
  • Making sure you get all the benefits you are entitled to
  • Setting up utilities and managing your bills or debts
  • Understanding your tenancy/licence agreement
  • Life skills and being independent at home
  • Staying safe at home
  • How to access daytime activities, training, education and employment
  • Finding a Dr and accessing necessary services
  • Dealing with other agencies and support to attend appointments
  • Emotional support such as confidence building and self-motivation


  • Help to successfully sustain your housing, preventing homelessness, poverty and eviction
  • Opportunity to join our young people’s group
  • Someone to talk to about any problems your having
  • Helping you to live independently so you can move on in other areas of your life such as gaining employment or further education.
