Floating Support 

Floating support provides support to enable young people to maintain and sustain their own tenancies.

A range of areas of support are provided:

  • Help with education, training and employment
  • Health and mental well-being including accessing specialist health services
  • Grants and furnishings
  • Budgeting, debt advice, benefits and help completing paperwork
  • Children and parenting
  • Household skills
  • Support to stay safe and overcome isolation
  • Housing rights and responsibilities
  • Managing tenancies
  • Help developing daily living skills
  • Adopting healthier lifestyle including healthy eating.
  • Emotional issues
  • Drug and alcohol misuse
  • Referrals to Princes Trust, Talent Match (employment programme), counselling and other specialist services
  • Advocacy – Acting as advocates where necessary and supporting clients at appointments with other agencies and services


  • Help to successfully sustain your housing, preventing homelessness, poverty and eviction
  • Opportunity to join our young people’s group
  • Someone to talk to about any problems you are having
  • Helping you to live independently so you can move on in other areas of your life such as gaining employment or further education.
