Private Landlords Scheme

The demand for accommodation to rent cannot realistically be met through social housing.  The private rented sector has traditionally been a source of affordable accommodation for young people, which is why Doorway is always on the look out for new landlords.  We have various types of accommodation including bedsits, flats and houses (mostly shared).

Services that we can offer landlords include:

  • Professional housing advice
  • Preparation of license and tenancy agreements
  • Photographic Inventories
  • Risk assessments
  • Health and Safety inspections
  • Assessment and vetting of potential tenants
  • Rent collection service
  • On-line BACS payments for rent payments
  • Monitoring of rent accounts

For more information about our landlord service please call us on 02476 586925/ 02476 586926 and speak to Shona the Supported Accommodation Manager.

Quotes from our Doorway landlords
Doorway is fully co-operative with the needs of the Landlord. They give you peace of mind about your property. I am very happy with the service I have received in the last 5 years and would recommend Doorway to other Landlords and Landladies.
We have worked in conjunction with Doorway for a number of years with the aim to provide affordable accommodation for 16 to 25 year olds in the Nuneaton and Bedworth area. Homeleigh feels they have a very good working relationship with Doorway and have achieved great progress in this very challenging niche of housing need.
Doorway is wonderful and can take the pressure off being a Landlord.
I think Doorway is fantastic. The service is absolutely second to none!
There is a need for Doorway and they do require suitable accommodation and I have nothing but praise for the dedication of the staff that provide a much needed service to young people in the County of Warwickshire area.
