“I have been working hard to get ready, my current training programme consists of 1 hour interval training on the bikes, so it recreates the feeling of cycling up hills and on flat ground. I'm doing this on level 15, my average watts are 150, I'm averaging 18mph at consistent peddling for the full hour. I then move on from cardio and muscle stamina to core exercises for 30 mins so that consists of planks, sit ups, press up, lunges and steps. After that I do a further 30 mins muscle building on the weight machines.
