How You Can Donate to Doorway

• Sign up for Gift Aid
• Become a volunteer
• You can donate on line through Charities Aid Foundation at www.cafonline.co.uk
• Please remember, if you are a tax payer to state this as Doorway can claim Gift Aid on your donation - which means for every £1.00 you donate, we can an extra claim 28p

Where Your Money Goes

• £15.00 could provide 1 hours counselling for a young person
• £25.00 can give 4 young people access to emergency accommodation.
• £60.00 could provide a starter pack for a young person moving into their first independent accommodation.
• £100.00 could pay for our Young People's Group to go out on an outing which they would otherwise not be able to afford.

How You Can Help

Can you help? You most certainly can! You could do anything from arranging an event in aid of Doorway either through your local school or youth club, at work, with friends or maybe your faith group.

Maybe you could donate gifts such as toiletries or household cleaning items to go into our Home Starter Packs – These are given to each young person moving into their first independent accommodation, comprising of items ranging from bedding & towels, crockery, cooking equipment & cleaning items as well as a food bag worth £5.00 comprising of nutritional food items.

We hope that by providing this starter pack, it helps remove some of the concern over small but vital things like plates and cups, greater energy can be focussed on developing “life skills” and moving forward to a positive future.
