Aims, Objectives and Mission Statement

Organisational Aims are to:

• Increase access to safe and secure accommodation for young people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
• Promote an integrated approach to meeting young people's housing, training and personal development needs.
• Enable young people to gain the necessary skills to live independently.
• Raise public awareness of the causes and effects of youth homelessness.

Organisational Objectives are to:

• Provide a comprehensive advice service for housing related issues.
• Provide an integrated support service for young people to enable independent living.
• Promote inter-agency co-operation between all services for young people.
• Enable our service users to have a voice in project development and in the decision making process through participation in our Young People's Group.
• Continue to make services available to all young people, regardless of their circumstances and aim to achieve equality of outcome.
• Regularly review services and develop appropriate responses to changing need.
• Address the prevention of youth homelessness through work in schools to raise awareness of homelessness and housing related issues.

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to help vulnerable young people through the provision of comprehensive advice, accommodation and support to gain independence. We will do this by working towards our above aims and objectives.
